AMU faculty receives APJ Abdul Kalam Scientist Award.

On new year, Aligarh Muslim University professor Faizan Ahmed, of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology department has been awarded, 'Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Scientist Award-2020' by 'The Society of Tropical Agriculture (STA) in New Delhi, for his significant contributions in food processing, heat transfer and extraction of bio-active compounds from agricultural waste.
According to AMU's Public Relations Office, he has also presented a paper on 'Osmotic Dehydration and Ultrasound-Assisted Osmotic Dehydration of Fruits and Vegetables: A Review' in the 11th International Conference on Agriculture, Horticulture, and Plant Sciences organised by STA New Delhi.
