Muslim Student Organisation condemns Israeli atrocities against Palestinians
As the Israeli regime is cracking down on Palestinians in the name of curbing their activities in the compound of the holy Al Aqsa mosque, Muslims and human rights defenders across the globe are raising their voices against the Zionist regime. In India, the Muslim Student Organisation, a leading outfit of young Indian Muslims, has vehemently launched a campaign to condemn Israeli atrocities. The outfit is organising live programmes on social media and sending messages to authorities and human rights groups to register their protest against Israelis.
The operation of the Israeli security forces started on the night of Friday, May 7, when Palestinians gathered for special Ramadan night prayer at Al Aqsa.
In a statement released to media on Monday evening, Shujaat Qadri, the president of MSO, said, “We the people of India condemn the attacks on the Palestinian worshippers in the Al Aqsa mosque and the residents of Sheikh Jarrah by the Israeli apartheid regime. We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, as they valiantly resist the Israeli attempts to target and ethnically cleanse the residents of Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan, both suburbs of East Jerusalem.
We also categorically condemn the Israeli Zionist regime in their continued attempts to undermine & destroy the Al Aqsa Masjid, Islam’s third holiest shrine. A section of the extremist-Zionist Jews are committed to the destruction of the Al Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock, in their stated bid to rebuild the Third Temple of Solomon. This poses catastrophic consequences for all of humanity and these fanatical designs must be foiled at all costs.
Both these attacks are essentially part of the Israeli policy of the Judaisation of Jerusalem, all of Palestine, even as they are committed to destroying the Christian and Islamic civilisational heritage of the Holy Land.”
